Okay, I&#39;m mostly packed up. Just waiting on my tails to drip-dry after applying some rubber shine to them, then that should be everything! :blobfoxhappy: I&#39;ve got my clothes picked out for tomorrow, as well as getting my tech stuff sorted out. I spent a couple hours getting an OpenVPN server stood up on my firewall and verifying I can remote into my home LAN. I even got screenshots of my con reg barcode, my confirmation text for my Moonlight Festival reservation and other such...

There&#39;s this little wild rabbit that likes to hang out in the back yard here, and it&#39;s been doing so for quite a while now. @lusrangifer Then wtf? Letting them hang around to let folks laugh at them is toxic in itself. :blobfoxnotamused: Not saying you should do this, but I&#39;ve left chat groups over smaller offenses than this before. I&#39;d definitely be walking from this server, too.

Did I miss something? Framework seems to have the same connotation as Tesla these days. I recall the whole Ruby on Rails dev fiasco, but I couldn't find anything substantive beyond the forum thread on the Framework site at the time. Edit: Folks keep linking me to stuff from the initial kerfuffle back in August 2025. I was hoping to see more recent substantive stuff that's not related to the initial backlash. Anyone hear about the Framework 13 Pro announcement today? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnOpIQJnYWU I&#39;m legit excited and hyped for this laptop, especially after learning Framework is opting for using LPCAMM2 modules for the RAM. I&#39;m seriously hopeful that this helps get CAMMs into more widespread use outside of certain ThinkPads.

At this point, the server I was trying to build out of that old B350 AM4 machine is so badly unstable that I keep getting ZFS scrub errors on my main NAS drives. :blobfoxnotlikethis: So I&#39;&#39;m turning my current desktop into my new server, since it has a pair of 2TB WD SN850s NVMe SSDs on top of the 12TB HDDs I just swapped over to it. Whether I leave the 9070 XT in there is another matter, but I might be able to stand up a VM with hardware passthrough for gaming if I really car...
