@bloodravenlib What makes these models worse than other bottles without a pressure release valve? Is it that the caps have short threads, so they are free to move out very soon when unscrewing?
I'm thinking this is probably a potential issue on other brands and models too, so I'd like to be aware of the root cause.

@pianosaurus @bloodravenlib I'd say your explanation is probably correct. On my thermos, the seal let's go one and a half turn before the thread ends. Less when there is a vacuum inside, because of the direction it seals, so if anything, high pressure would release even earlier.
