So the R36S I bought turned out to be a clone with half the RAM and no custom firmware support. I thought I could make it work, but performance was so poor it could not keep up with Yoshi's Island. Also the vertical format is not for me and made my fingers cramped. Controller support was not working either. I returned it for a full refund and ordered a TrimUI Smart Pro instead. World of difference! It was twice the price, but so worth it. Comfortable to hold, smooth performance, great screen, and the stock OS is very nice. I'll gladly stick with it until I get the itch to change it. It didn't come with an SD card so I supplied my own (SanDisk Ultra) flashed the latest firmware and added my games. Setup was a breeze. Now I'm playing Lucky Luke for the Game Boy I never had and my inner child is very happy. #retrogaming #gameboy #gaming
