@mijustin
It's funny to see discussions like this... My husband is a theatre nerd turned highschool drama teacher. Way back before Youtube & social media, it was *understood* that earning a living from art, was an extreme long shot. Like winning the lottery. He became a teacher in order to have a career still adjacent to art.
'Content Creator' is a just modern evolution of artist.
Yet today there is much more competition. It's not rare anymore to be an online artist.

@mijustin Yet ask anyone who's a paid artist like illustrator, photographer, web designer, videographer, writer... these jobs, when you can land them, pay less than they did 20 years ago. We don't pay $2000 for a professional logo design anymore. It's a quick job on Fiverr or similar. And those are the good paying corporate art jobs. How many indie game devs make money? We are in a heyday of artistic content creation of many types. Everyone is doing it!! Great for art, bad for wallets. 2/2.
