@CadeTheCat@tiggi.es the answer to this question is because they assume they're "normal" and every consequence of their behavior is just how things are. They don't have to change because they've constructed the world and of you don't fit in, it's your fault. This is also true for multiple paradigms.

@CadeTheCat@tiggi.es This! ☝️ 💯 How often have I heard from critics that I lack empathy, because I do not know how others feel. Yeah, genius, I'm not others. How would I!? At the same time, they don't even know how they feel themselves, what they need to feel good with themselves, why they don't need this or that, how they lie about everything to themselves, esp. the things they like and don't like. It's hilarious.
