@kbsez By focusing on the defense of the Potter universe it derails all threads about Rowling's HARM, and thus trans people can't even talk about the harm she's doing because defenders of Potter universe are stuck in a loop of defending their fixation rather than listening to what others are trying to say.
I point this out because I'm exhausted by conversations that try to defend the Potter universe.
We can't stop Rowling's initiatives if this comes up every single time.

@Aaidanbird Thanks for taking the time to respond to this so thoughtfully. My point, and my only point pretty much was about when I see people attacking fans for being fans without any effort to engage, enlighten, or inform them. Yes, there are some people who don't understand, but there are also people that just hear the noise of someone attacking them for something that they love without explanation and that closes their mind to what it's all about 1/2
