I'm fine with encouraging folks to not put any more money in her pockets and educating fans about the stupidity and nonsense she has been spouting and supporting...
but unfortunately I've seen too many cases of fans of the Potter series being attacked for being fans... it's a shame and it's horrible. (not meaning your post)
You can't engage with the people and say what I said above, if you defend the fans (not JKR) you are an enemy
It's a real pity and I don't think it's good.

@kbsez I personally found some fans are eager to tell me they'll support the franchise no matter what, and when I point out where her money goes and it's impact on my life, I end up dehumanized and sometimes mocked. Told it's impossible to boycott so why bother. So at this point, I can see why some people are angry at folks who claim to still be fans. That doesn't mean it's ok to be cruel, but I want to be clear that fans need to be kinder too. Try to meet in the middle with us.
