I personally found some fans are eager to tell me they'll support the franchise no matter what, and when I point out where her money goes and it's impact on my life, I end up dehumanized and sometimes mocked. Told it's impossible to boycott so why bother.
So at this point, I can see why some people are angry at folks who claim to still be fans. That doesn't mean it's ok to be cruel, but I want to be clear that fans need to be kinder too. Try to meet in the middle with us.

@Aaidanbird I am 100% online with exposing her bigotry and stupidity and not putting any additional money in her pockets Having said that, myself and my family are not going to stop being fans and admirers of the Potter series. For someone to suggest to me that I should stop doing that is nearly impossible Part of the attraction of the series to many, many people is the ideal of inclusion, being different and accepted, and standing up against racism and bigotry 1/2
