@diabhoil Ok, I get it, and I dislike it too, but what you’re saying is similar to saying: “the truck that brings my food to the store uses diesel, I’m going to grow my own food now and hope I don’t starve.”
Here are some things we could do:
- Educate our politicians on technology.
- Voice our disagreement with companies using US-owned infrastructure.
- Find and promote viable alternatives and be willing to pay extra.
For a start: What do you suggest I use instead of DeepL?

@stairjoke Thats a good question where I do not have an answer to 😞 And I did not say "do not use it". I said that I am unsure how its going to continue and if they are on a good way. We are still using them at our company and I'd still prefer them over any other service at the moment. Maybe there is a better one out there which I do not know yet.
