@wwwgem@social.linux.pizza I think I saw your post the other day on it and ngl that pretty much had me sold lol i need a kindle alternative, not too happy that amazon is locking down old kindles too (have a first gen paperwhite sitting around for…reasons lol)

@n0madz@social.lol ngl? I have several blog posts about the X4, its customization, and tools, as well as a review if you're interested. I don't own any other e-reader and was very hesitant to try this one, but I have no regrets. In your case, it may be what you're looking for (especially for the price). The good point is that no device can be blocked retrospectively and you can send it back if you go with Amazon, so it's risk free.
