@TheLastOfHisName I was using LMDE with a 4070 when they were newer. It wasn't great for steam games due to the hardware newness at the time and the model of LMDE preferring LTS kernels. I bet if you are on an intel or Radeon it would be pretty good as long as you are not on a bleeding edge card.
