@drj They shoud do it but they all run Microsoft everything so they would just provide github.

@edwiebe @drj Well, here in Germany, at least in my federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate (what a name, right?), the state's university network provides a Gitlab instance to all university employees. Yes, it is less visible, but it is certainly working! It also comes with Mattermost and BigBlueButton. And there's a file sharing service using Seafile. All open to out-of-state users as well, if they are invited by a state university member. It's possible! #Germany #Gitlab #Mattermost
