So I walk upto the busstop and the digital sign says the next bus is due in 15 minutes. I decide to walk to the next stop on the route. I make it two stops before the waiting time has dropped to 6 minutes. At which point I decide to not risk it, because I might miss this one and they only go every half hour. By doing this I have:

@usmu@kind.social you got a bit of exercise and saved yourself from having to stand about waiting awkwardly at the bus stop - which is of entirely counterintuitive to the act of going somewhere

@usmu@kind.social I always walk to previous stops so that there are more free seats Why walk to the next stop? Is your destination close enough that you might make it if the bus is very late?
