Why walk to the next stop? Is your destination close enough that you might make it if the bus is very late?

@luc@chaos.social Free seats are usually not a problem at the times I travel, so they're not a consideration for me. Walking towards the next stop makes me feel I have less of a chance to miss the bus. Which is not factually true, but there you go. And I have walked to my destination on occasion, so I might do that if I feel like it.
