🍑My peach tree hasn't leafed out yet. In researching the matter, I learned about "Chill Hours." Chill hours are the accumulated hours of time spent below 45° & for fruit trees to be woken from #dormancy they require a particular amount of Chill Hours. My #peach tree, for instance, requires 1100 #Chill Hours & this year it only got 850. Therefore, my peach tree is stuck in a semi-dormancy. This will delay growth by a couple of months. I'll eventually see leaves & fruit but they may be meager.
