I can’t imagine enough people spamming f5 for a controller???
Were supplies extremely limited?

there were absolutely scalpers spamming F5 yes, supplies were very limited

Demand, a lot of people wanted it. Same happens to all Valve hardware. I bet it will be back in stock soon.
