@ic5146 @ariarhythmic Yeah :D This is super important rather than nitpicking the exact language people use, most people aren't thinking much before they speak; it's alot of the time more about how they act. Ofc lots of trans people we have learned to listen very carefully and read the subtext to figure out whether someone well, at worst case wants us dead/extinguished. But it's still good to remember the benefit of the doubt, and that our interpretation is not perfect, as we spend much time in the trans bubble and not the general people bubble for obvious reasons. Sometimes we need to give a little lenience when it comes to people who show (genuine) support for us but aren't in the trans bubble yknow and don't know all the specifics. The action matters more than the specific words used in most cases, language is a fickle thing. There is always something lost when turning the subjective to objective then back to subjective as with words. :)
