We went to our little neighborhood café for dinner. It was lovely sitting on the covered patio, listening to the rain fall, and stuffing a burger in my face. There was a small group of college boys at the table near us. All of a sudden, two of the guys jumped up and ran out into the rain to an elderly lady who was slowly making her way up an incline from the street. One offered her his arm to hold onto, while the other took her umbrella and held it over her head. My little grinch heart grew about three sizes. The kids are alright.
