@KaCi @autistics I really struggle with approaching people. When people have approached me, it generally goes well. But even when I muster up the courage to reach out to someone else, they just don't respond in a way that lets me believe they are interested in connecting. So I can put a lot of effort into people who don't seem inclined to reciprocate, or I can have nothing.

@eruonna Very relatable. I also struggle with approaching people and am much more comfortable with others approaching me. I often feel like I never had an interesting thought during my whole life at the beginning of a conversation or am afraid that my curiosity comes across as interrogation. But once the communication reaches a certain point it feels like the words are flowing out of me and there is not enough time to cover all the interesting thoughts and topics we already mentioned. That often led to chats that lasted for hours depending on the energy level and situation. @autistics
