And that is something to wrap my head around. Becuse i learned to adapt, to mask in my childhood. And it is very hard to break those things in my head that did not work out for me.
And then i met some people who are just as strange as i feel every day and suddenly we can talk for hours. We have fun together. We feel great together. And still there are so many neurotypical standards to throw over board.

@LivingCode I can also hardly imagine being friends with neurotypical people any more since I experienced the difference in communication, depth and validation with other AuDHD people. It also makes a huge difference if the person knows, that they are AuDHD and understands their neurodivergence. It's so much fun to unmask and explore that together and it gives us the opportunity to accommodate each others needs. @autistics
