It took a few weeks for the local business who handle their warranty service to get parts in, but I now have a repaired television. The repair was a complete new panel assembly so it was more like a brain transplant. I didn't expect that they would keep parts around for a model such as mine that's now two generations old, but the tech said they'll usually have parts available for 5-7 years which is nice to know.
