@MamaLake I very much prefer to read on paper, but some books are hard to find and/or expensive. In those cases I prefer e-paper over printing. 😅

@MamaLake mostly screen. i try to read books but screens keep distracting me. i can read books more easily if i'm isolated from screens and there isn't much of any conversation happening around me.

@MamaLake Generally buy the book on paper, because mmmmm book smell. Plus the heft makes it more "real" and satisfies my muscle memory. Then if I really liked it, I'll grab an ebook version to read on my phone because I can't schlep around a 600 page tome on the regular. If it's just a snack book, then it's ebook version from the start. There's an urban fantasy series I like a lot, but not something I can curl up on the sofa and read until I finish it at 1 am.

@MamaLake@beige.party For this one, if it's reference works or the like, I prefer screen because I usually want to search for information, etc. and screen is better for that. If it's fiction, or philosophy, or history, or the like, physical paper book please.
