@MamaLake Generally buy the book on paper, because mmmmm book smell. Plus the heft makes it more "real" and satisfies my muscle memory. Then if I really liked it, I'll grab an ebook version to read on my phone because I can't schlep around a 600 page tome on the regular. If it's just a snack book, then it's ebook version from the start. There's an urban fantasy series I like a lot, but not something I can curl up on the sofa and read until I finish it at 1 am.
