@stelepami I've always loved it. I don't think it would work well at the mediocre-even-by-amateur-standards level I've played, but in the PWHL where there's some amount of parity, I think it works well. It feels like the jailbreaks are rare enough that the risk of getting out of position outweighs the temptation of scoring shorthanded. I do agree that No Escape improves it significantly.

@eedly Initially, it offended my sense of justice; the player is in the penalty box because she did something wrong, and it didn't feel fair that her team gets to cancel out that punishment just because they did something difficult! But it does encourage risk-taking in an exciting way, and combining the penalty of going down a skater with forcing non-PKers to start the PK made it feel more fair to me. #SportsPuck #PWHL
