@finner need to figuring out a way to charge for your recovery time, consider it overtime.
(I know this is unrealistic, I am just commiserating)
Honestly, might be easier to look for an lighter job, even if it doesn't pay as well, just to use as leverage. I know that involves the additional work of pulling at all your contacts to look for something, but you know how it be.

@theeclecticdyslexic Yeah, it's not as bad as I'm probably making it sound. This was a particularly rough situation. We had hired a guy last year that had a great resume to take on a job that we couldn't really support with existing resources, which turned out to be a mistake. He talked the talk well, but then proceeded to fuck it all up. So it was a mad 3 month scramble to pull it all back together. Then the outage was rough as hell. Normally my work life balance is actually very nice.
