Probably silly to worry over, but what time of year is the "nicest" time for knocking back a spider's webs? (mostly I try to leave em be, but I kinda need to knock 'em back at some point or they tend to take over corners/etc)

@glassbottommeg they usually rebuild/fix them in the early morning so I usually do it in the afternoon if nobody’s home?

  • @glassbottommeg probably spring after the young spiders have at least hardenedr. (I guess also in winter if you're careful to not harm any egg sacs, or just move them to a safer place) orb weavers will also rebuild their webs daily so it does vary by spider. I'm pretty sure i've domesticated my house spiders at this point, I can pinch off the web they're hanging on and carry them, stick it to a wall and they instantly start rebuilding, they're massively chill with me moving them around.
