It really feels like Apple’s software quality is going downhill. Ever since iOS 26 a bunch of the little things that used to “just work”… don’t (random bluetooth audio device selection and strange podcast next episode behaviour being top of mind). My last few iPhones have been second-hand from family members and I’ll probably keep on doing that if I can, but between the decreasing quality, price, erosion of privacy, and intrusion of AI there’s no way I’m buying a brand new one.
