@HikerGeek I suspect a lot of the material that the US cottage industry is using to make backpacks, ditty bags, etc. are all imported from China. So these small companies will eventually have to raise prises or reduce profits.

@ysb33r They may be able to get the tariff money back eventually. It might take years but then it would be a nice lump sum they could use for their business. Both raising prices and reducing profits has been going on in many industries here. It's visibility has been blunted by the selling off of inventory that they had that was bought pre-tariffs. That inventory has generally run out and now prices are going up.
