Every storefront in a community is a member of that community. When a community is under attack, members come to each other’s aid. Today, protesters planned nearly 40 Target store sit-ins across the U.S. to protest ICE. Target was founded in Minnesota. It became a national chain. Yet its leadership allows ICE to come on premises and illegally arrest its workers. It caves to anti-gay rhetoric and threats. It straddles a fence doing nothing.
