i got one of those all-in-one desktop IAQ meters for like half off and it kind of sucks. the polarizer seems to be wrong? like it's darkest looking straight on and brightest at a very oblique angle. also the CO2 meter does go up if i blow through it but never gets above 500 even in a closed room. the VOC and formaldehyde readings did spike when i brought it into the shop after planing a bunch of pine (CO2 shot up too...). the particulate matter sensors seem to do absolutely nothing---even burying the unit in a pile of sawdust didn't make them budge from <5 ug/m3. ... maybe there's a reason it was half off
