@sjolsen Thank you. friend, for pointing me to a theological puzzle!
The Bible says the Kingdom of Heaven is yeast (Matthew 13:33). But it also says that malice is yeast (1 Corinthians 5:8). Before we can eat the Passover meal, we have to do spring cleaning, and sweep away the leaven of malice from every nook and cranny.
How can yeast be both malice and the Kingdom of Heaven?
It comes down to the conditions of fermentation.

@sjolsen Put yeast in grape juice in a cool cellar, and you may produce delicious wine. Put the same yeast in honey water in an apartment that is too warm, and you will not get mead. You will get five gallons of liquid that smells and tastes like a toxic cleaning product. The guy at the brewing store will say, don't throw it out, let it age. But in two years, it will taste awful. So, be cool! (Says the Bible.) Don't let yourself get overheated, or you will end up with a carboy full of yuck.
