It can be charged using UV light; either some UV flashlight or panel or, well, just the Sun. And will then glow, with something looking like an exponential decay. It's very bright just after charging, then it remains not as bright but very visible for hours. Usually, it's still glowing a bit in the dark after a full night of sleep away from any light.
In daylight it does not stand out, it's just very vaguely luminescent just after charging it. But in the dark it's very obvious. Here is a video showing it.
