Agreed. We've forgotten we have a free trade deal already with Mexico.

@human3500 @malducin One of Carney’s first moves was creating a trade corridor through the US between Canada and Mexico. While this hasn’t really increased our exports, it seems to have reduced the fees we paid to the US. https://international.canada.ca/en/global-affairs/corporate/reports/mexico-partnership/action-plan-2025-2028
