I'm in the GM part of the Cortex Prime. The author leans in *real* hard into the cinematic metaphor. Every session is broken down into scenes and then beats. Cinema terminology is everywhere. The suggestions for when to end scenes feels kind of awkward. One suggestion if characters are at a stalemate is to end the scene and start a new one with the same conflict. And that just, doesn't make sense. They even have weird shit like "very special episodes" and sessions that were all a dream. The Pathways method of character creation seems like a neat idea. #TTRPG #CortexPrime
