I love the Playstation 2. It's far from a perfect console, even softmodded, but it's definitely one of my favorites. Getting to play some of my favorite games off a memory card with an SD card in it is awesome enough, but the fact that I can load some PS1 games through a semi-official emulator (community enhanced version of Sony's POPS emulator) until I can afford to get my PS1 fixed is sick as hell! That said, the PS2 has a banging library and even if you never touch a PS1 game with it you will be hard pressed to run out of games to play.
