@vreer Yes, in principle I agree that war sucks, and in an ideal world it would not be necessary. I would have never thought that I would be rooting for sending bombs to anyone. But we live in the real world, where russia is a fascist state that wants to get back the land they consider theirs and exact revenge in the form of genocide on the people who dared to escape their land empire. They have been openly talking about it since the collapse of the soviet union. And they have started with Ukraine. The reality is that if we don't arm Ukraine, they will not stop there. No amount of naive wishful thinking will change that fact. Sometimes you need to hand someone a brick to hit a fascist in the face. Also - here you have the priviledge of knowing that even if russia succeeds, your family and friends won't be in threat of being bombed, raped and brutally murdered by a bunch of goons. I don't have that priviledge.
