Story of a hawk. This was several years ago, but still warm in my heart. Noticed a pair of Red-shouldered Hawks building a nest directly above one of the major trails at the Nature Center (about 10 meters up). Both took turns sitting on the nest to incubate, through even the worst storms. This is the chick that hatched. The chance to watch this chick grow and fledge was a thrill.
