I was in the "I don't know how to use command line so Linux will probably be really hard" camp when I first swapped. I use Nobara and it installed with everything I needed, I learned how to install apps in like 5 seconds, and it already had all the assorted gaming shit I needed like codecs and Wine pre-installed. Got used to it within a day or so and haven't ever swapped back to Windows aside from the two times I've used something that's actively anti-Linux (fuck you Epic and your shitass game engine)
