Okay, that's fucking IT! If I can't figure out how to keep the Update Manager from turning up three times in one day no matter what kind of checking interf\val I think I've chosen, automatic update dhecking is OUT RHE WINSOW. I'm a grown-up and I can check for updates when I damn well feel like it.🤬

Aaaaand guess what, good old UM ignores my new settings. SO it doesn't matter what I do, it's going to nag me every fucking day for every fucking trivial update. I think I need to find a config file to shred.

@matera@mastodon.sdf.org update-manager is trash, yeah uninstall it. no reason to disable unattended upgrades, though :)
