@tranquillity@mastodon.minionflo.net i think the definition is malleable between people, but largely i am referring to the age you are growing up, being a teen and early twenties. not a child anymore but definitely not yet an adult

  • @espyeen@meow.social what's "growing up"? The reason why I ask is because I often see this mentioned, but to me it is always this abstract concept that doesn't make sense. I mean that genuinely - I never had a "childhood" the way others describe, and I certainly would never want to relive the hell that was my life when I was under 18, so I keep wondering what does everyone mean when they mention that, and why they want it back. To be clear, I'm in my early twenties, so I suppose that makes me "youth" ? What makes an "adult" ?
