A thought. We are hurting economically. We are. Don't care where you are. I am too. But remember: every unit of currency we save and then set fire to by buying cheaper gas, is one we are stealing from our grandchildren. We know the problem. We know the capitalist solution. We tax it til it hurts. And we put it off. Again and again. We use our money to build infrastructure for wildly profitable companies under pretend threat that they'd leave. Or that that would be bad. The price of gas, by any reasonable economic measure of its damage to humanity, is not *high*. It is foolishly low. Think about it when you're thinking about those prices at the pump. How much is it worth, compared to what burning it will do. Or we could build, electrify, and operate huge public transit, and rebuild our cities through zoning. Use government money, by taxing corporations and the wealthy, to pay us back for all the work and money we the people put into making their success physically feasible. The answer is obvious. Read. I trust facts. The advantage of most printed material in history is its lack of AI involved. Read. See if I'm wrong. The reality is behind my position. Come join us there. Books. Libraries. Why are they attacking them? Because they know what's in them. Knowledge. Their greatest fear. I don't need to convince you. Look at the facts. Go to sources. You can't miss it. I've said all I need to today. Y'all have a nice day.
