I think because she dressed very non-femme. Suits, ties, short hair. She didn't people-please or try to be a caretaker, where both are very femme-coded.

@JillsJoy I don't object to any of that! But I do wish they hadn't done that in the context of her basically having PTSD. I liked some of the clothing but not all. That skirt with the weird hemline bugged me. @mel
