I have always loved the Sirius building in Sydney, and followed the push to preserve it and prevent its demolition. It survives, albeit somewhat gentrified. Our friend Ray, here in Melbourne, has painted a picture of it as viewed from the southern approach to the Harbour Bridge. We couldn't resist it in this weekend's Pascoe Vale art show, so we bought it.

@sister_ratched@toot.community oh, very nice. And, yeh, I still remember leaving Sydney and it being the exit ramp to the city over the bridge. Best apartments in Sydney, and they were public housing
