Standing Statue of Fudō Myōō (#FudōMyōō), Ganjoju-in, Shizuoka, #Japan, #Kamakura period. A symmetrical figure with both eyes looking straight ahead and both fangs pointing downwards. This is rare for Fudo Myoo. Yosegi-zukuri, Tamame technique. The statue of Saikaradoji holding a samurai's treasure stick and the statue of Hikaradoji holding a lotus flower were also created by Unkei, who was in his mid-thirties, in his prime.
