@bodhipaksa thank you - I was short on time. It'd be interesting to have some AI-based automation, as it might be more consistent as for the accessibility aspects and how screen readers would interpret it.

@rbanffy There are tools that can help. When uploading images on the web there's an option to detect text from an image. Usually this needs a little tweaking, and I'm not sure it would have worked in this case. One Mastodon app I use — Ice Cubes — has an option to add AI-generated text, and often it's very good. Here again, though, it offers more of a summary rather than explaining the details of the image. It says it's humorous, but doesn't explain the joke.
