@nathan @martin @ChadF Local models will absolutely get to the level of hosted frontier models. They are very close already. 3 years from now I don't think any of us will be using the hosted models for coding.

@dave @nathan @martin @ChadF I'm not sure I follow the logic. Why would it be cheaper to run it at home versus what the costs are in the cloud 🤔. People are using cloud for traditional servers all the time although it's way more expensive. Why wouldn't the same go on with AI. Maybe 5 dollar AI will pop up like vpsses
