@npt_writes man last night I was drifting off to sleep when I suddenly hear a blood curling yowl from our eldest cat Yondu. He has some chronic health issues so it made me spring out of bed to see what was wrong.
Found him in the hallway leading to the garage. There he was sitting calmly when I turned the light on. When he had my eye, he turned to the door to the garage and stretched up towards the door knob.
Little fucker just wanted to go in the garage. Nearly gave me a heart attack with that yowl.😆

@Vanalope Mine has a thing about closed doors. Closets, bathrooms, cupboards... she takes a closed door like it's a personal insult. She has a post-breakfast morning routine where she goes and yowls for about ten minutes straight at a door that I keep closed in the basement (and have since the day we moved in) because I don't want her getting into the crawlspace behind it. Cats are weird.
