@elizayer We aren’t blaming all people who are “hopping jobs” altogether, though, right? Some of them (like me) had no choice because they couldn’t survive a toxic work environment. Which seems to happen a LOT. Especially amongst those at the margins.
Or am I misinterpreting this part of your point?

@firepoet Not blaming the hoppers, and apologies, I agree it reads that way! I think the picture is mixed. There are some folks who move frequently and avoid responsibility... But I do think it's much more about a system that typically restricts progression of good, thoughtful folks, overpromotes others according to a strange individualized model of "leadership," and embraces a highly problematic layoff culture. And I'm really sorry for your experience in an unlivable situation. ❤️
