@camertron i am convinced that is speed that is killing us, that we’re just going faster than we physically and mentally can. there were two wonderful essayists that first put the seed of those thoughts in my head, long time ago; one is milan kundera with his essay-novel about the pleqsure of slowness and the pain of speed, and the other is paul virilio with his thinking about how speed and technology associate in a quest for power: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slowness_(novel) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Virilio
