@piraat It's hardly frivolous when it leads to hate and violence, which it does. People tar all cyclists with the same brush, and that leads to aggressive behaviour leading to physical harm. If you compare the death and serious injury to pedestrians stats between cyclists and drivers in motor vehicles, you'll see what I mean. I'm not trivialising or excusing anything. Pedestrians being harmed by cyclists is a comparatively vanishingly rare thing.

@ravenbait @clickhere @dec23k @Rubelicious @baoigheallain The rarity is irrelevant, you clearly are treating it without the due concern that you're required to under the rules of the road in exactly the same "might is right" manner that car drivers do. If anyone is giving cyclists a bad reputation here it's you. The sensible thing would be to take the concerns of pedestrians seriously, if you're not willing to do that then you deserve a poor reputation.
